my rating reflects my perceived value vs the price i paid. i bought their Hostdeal Triple lifetime package a fortnight ago. at their promotional price, i consider it fairly good value. i am using it to host a personal web site. be aware that their web builder tool, koplan, is feature-locked and requires additional purchase ($75 - more than what i paid for the hostdeal package) for expanded functionality. you can get (just) a few static pages set up with the basic koplan builder. i played with installing wordpress and coppermine. both did not install successfully. support was prompt, via their support ticketing system, but ended up with an inexplicable (and unexplained) termination of my account and the removal of my server and contents. to their credit, they reinstated the service within 24 hours, but i had to start afresh with a new server set-up. i also tried to connect into my (linux) server via putty. there are strict restrictions and i am not sure how much you can do in the shell. you are not allowed to sudo or to cd out of your home directory. i don't know if apt is allowed; an 'env' command terminated my connection abruptly, and i never went back in to dig more after that. my package includes many services that i am free to use, like CDN, email and ftp management, scheduler, backups, MySQL, security filters, a host of mostly open source php installables for web publishing, CMS, marketing, etc. i am still trying to familiarise. my impression so far: a fairly good buy for a lifetime account, assuming the services provided work properly, but it is not like your own VM to use as you wish.

This is among the best small business package out there, there are several spin-offs available, all from host deals main servers, so don't get wrapped around the axle about which one you pick on here. a total killer deal. locked up with two factor

Very stable, fast hosting environment! Support is quick to respond but initial package deployment may take a while. For that I am leaving off one star, but also because they require you to use their name servers in order to support their free SSL (Let's Encrypt) and I normally never trust any one provider's DNS. Time will tell if this lifetime service compares to traditional paid CPanel hosting or VPS with a control panel. So far so good, though!

It works a small project for me to work on. It's decent for what I paid for.

I received the product key right away, and was able to redeem it without issues, will explore it the service further.
